Dr. West grew up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She attended Clemson University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and a minor in Microbiology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She continued her education by completing an optional one year General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital (Prisma Health) in Columbia, SC to enhance her knowledge in general dentistry.
Dr. West is a member of The American Dental Association, The South Carolina Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. West enjoys growing with her patients and helping them transform not only their smile, but their confidence as well.
Dr. West is recently married to her husband Henry, who is a Mount Pleasant native. Together they have a yellow English lab named Carl. In their free time, they enjoy being outdoors, whether that’s in the garden, at the beach or on the boat.
